Our Story

Founded in 2018 by Ms. Lizzy Carrol Nyathi, Lisima Trading and Projects is a dynamic agricultural business dedicated to producing high-quality vegetables for local markets. Originally established as Nyathi Chicken Enterprise, the business evolved to focus on vegetable farming, leading to its rebranding as Lisima Trading and Projects

With a Degree in Agricultural Management from the University of Limpopo, Ms. Nyathi brings both expertise and passion to the business. Operating on a 4-hectare farm, Lisima Trading has currently developed 1 hectare for active production, cultivating a variety of fresh and nutritious vegetables.

Our primary products include vast number of vegetable crops such as spinach, tomatoes, chillies and okra, special crops, herbs and fruits to meet the market demand. As the results of excess fresh produce supluses we had to come up with a way of preserving some of these products, at lisima we developed the sundried tomatoes and taking advantage of the amount of sun received throughout the year in the bushbuckridge area, we saw an opportunity to jump in and so far we have no competent in the area. The second processed product is pepper sauce, we are still trying to develop other product as the solution the cut down the losses in fresh products that couldn't make it to the shelves due to market saturation. These mentioned processed products are mainly delivered to the game lodges. We supply our produce to a growing network of customers including Lebamba fruit and veg in hoedspruit, tintswalo safari lodge, wildlife college, spar supermarket, roots butchery, boxer stores and street vendors in bushbuckridge

At lisima we are committed to sustainable farming, quality produce and supporting local communities. We comply with the SAGAP and in the process of being HACCP certified. With a dedicated team of 9 farm workers, the business is steadily expanding to cultivate more land to serve more customers
